HELPING HATS
Trunk & Hutch is proud to host its second annual HELPING HATS event on Thursday, April 20, 2023, benefiting The Backside Learning Center.
HELPING HATS is a derby-themed event facilitated by Trunk & Hutch where gently used hats and fascinators can be secured with a donation to The Backside Learning Center and revitalized for your 2023 festivities.
We will accept donations now through Wednesday, April 19, during regular store hours. The event will occur at Trunk & Hutch, located in the heart of St. Matthews at 159 Chenoweth Lane.
The Backside Learning Center is a nonprofit organization serving the equine workers of Churchill Downs and their families through educational programs and social services. Since its inception in 2004, the Backside Learning Center has evolved into a comprehensive resource center, providing an array of educational programming, an after-school program for the children of the backside workers, social services and referrals, and translation and interpretation services.
We invite you to donate your gently used hats and fascinators and come by the event on Thursday, April 20, to pick up a headpiece while benefiting this outstanding organization. You’ll look great and help our community at the same time.
